Snowed under.

I feel over whelmed by all that I have to get done. I also am pretty sore from trying to get things done. When you are my age cleaning gutters, planting flowers, cleaning the house and all of the other things one must get done is hard. I now realize just how much Jim did and trying to do both our jobs is hard. He is trying to do more too help. Which fills me full of guilt for not being able to take care of all of these things. I would pay someone to do some of this stuff, but Jim has his pride. So here I am.

The young guy across the street came over and mowed the front lawn and bank for us. I was so relieved because that is a very steep bank. I have too keep telling myself one thing at a time. You can only do one thing at a time.

I would mow your grass as well and charge nothing except a tall glass of tea and perhaps cookie or two.

You have a wonderful neighbor.

Hang in there...

I bet you're exhausted!
My heart goes out to Jim, wanting to help but I can imagine how tired he is too. What if he could see the help another way?
The way things are now, there are lots of people hurting for work. Anyone you hired would help you as much as you help them. A friend of mine runs a concierge business and she does a lot of personal care work. She'll do anything from massage to mowing the lawn, painting your deck or drive you around. Here's her link:
Amity Living
Maybe there's someone like that in your area.
I was lucky that my sister lived so close! She helped me clean and paint, and keep up with everything.
Hope you get some rest! *hugs*

You're right, Roz, you can only do one thing at a time, and you do it with style and dignity! Give yourself a pat on the back, and Jim too, from me.

Just take one thing at a time. Jim sounds like my dad...he won't ask for help either. Don't try to take on too much...don't want to get yourself down too...ya know. Hang in there...hugs!
