I can only try to make things better for some others that I know. At least I can offer a warm house, bed and food. Times are really tough for some, and it makes you all the more grateful that you have what you have in this world.
I certainly know what it is too be cold, sick and hungry. I worry for all of the people who have lost everything because of others greed. I agree with Bobby I don't think it is going to get better for some time.
We didn't need to worry so much about the enemies outside our country. We had plenty who were doing us in right here at home. How sick.

That is so true. I have talked to two people who are losing their homes in the last two days.
Not pretty. I do have worse stories than that and it weighs heavily on my mind.
Love,

I think it's sad how a few of the greedy made it worse for the every day guy. I hope the recovery comes quickly.
I am thankful for what I do have too. :) Count my blessings very often.

I wish I could bottle up a little of our relative stability and ship it down for the folks who really need it. :(
I wish you could too Anonova. It will get better at least we can hope.

I have thought for quite a long time that Americans really don't look for the clues that someone is in trouble. People put on bright, shiny faces because they don't want to lose their dignity and don't want to come off as moochers. I guess I think there's more to life than watching TV and all the stuff we get ourselves wrapped up in.
The fact that there are still some people who think beyond their next big toy helps me have hope for the country at large.
